KDBX2XML

kdbx2xml is a portable, command-line Windows program which exports the KDBX file (version 3.1) contents to a XML file.

KDBX is the file format of the KeePass - the free password manager.

Use can use kdbx2xml to convert encrypted password database contained in the binary KDBX file to a text-based XML file, where you can see all information in clear.

kdbx2xml takes at command line 2 parameters

reads the KDBX file, decrypts the encrypted database, creates a new XML file in the same folder and writes the decrypted database to the XML file.

The XML file has the same name as the KDBX file but with extension .xml, e.g:
KDBX file: mypasswords.kdbx
XML file: mypasswords.xml

kdbx2xml doesn't modify the KDBX file in any way.

HOW TO USE

Open command prompt (cmd.exe) and type:

kdbx2xml.exe mypasswords.kdbx secret
